One pottery class has turned into a decade long obsession with the medium of clay. I enjoy it's uncertainty,
it's immediacy & it's remarkable durability. My current work is a combination of wheel working & hand building inspired
by the beauty & whimsy of my ordinary surroundings.I use a four step glazing process which I feel gives the work a natural
warmth that honors the integrity of the medium while relaying my own unique vision.
On The Cusp Gallery started with my work & the work of 5 friends. It has become something more than I could
have imagined. In five short years ,though sometimes they have felt longer, the gallery has grown from a 250' space to
600' and 6 artists to over 90. With the continued support of the community, I hope to continue to change & grow. I look
forward to sharing this wonderful group of work with you & helping you find the perfect piece of art for your home or
gift for your loved one.
Thankyou,
Sara Petipas Owner/ Artist
